A residency in Iceland in the summer of 2015 created a shift of interest, towards landscape and also towards a creative conversation between drawing/painting and time based media. During 2015/16 I had two solo exhibitions in the NE of England. The shows featured drawing, painting and a performance film. I also collaborated with another artist to produce a short film commissioned by engage. I trained as a painter but over the years my practice has diversified to include installation, light, sound, performance, billboards, curating, and digital media. I continue to enjoy working with people and I am a free-lance artist for the BALTIC Centre of Contemporary Art in Gateshead. A second residency in Iceland (Herhúsid) in July 2016 enabled me to draw, paint and make a short film.
