This project was a response to the formalities of Council meetings and began by simply asking council workers – “What would surprise you on entering a meeting room?” A selection from over 100 responses became the inspiration for this ‘friendly’ performance installation. A meeting room was transformed into a post-modern variety theatre and featured a classically trained singer and a Zulu poet. A soundtarck was produced by Rob Robinson.
